Central heating
The most common types of central heating are underfloor, radiant and forced air central heating. Most systems use a boiler to produce the heat.
Most commonly used fuels for central heating boilers are natural gas and diesel. However, there are wood fired boilers and pellet boilers available, with pellet fired boilers becoming an environmental choice particularly in areas of strict air emission control such as Canterbury and Nelson.
