The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) have requested a monitoring report on the recently installedAgresearch Invermay (AgR) wood-fired boilers. Agresearch Invermay received funding from EECA’s Wood Energy Grant Scheme (WEGS) to assist with installation costs for a wood fired boiler system as part of the boiler upgrade project.
Transitionz Group Ltd (TGL) was commissioned by EECA to monitor and report on the installation. A questionnaire was drafted and a site visit arranged with AgR’s Mark Cameron. The boiler and associated plant was inspected by TGL’s Lloyd McGinty during a site visit on Friday 19th May 2009. This report collates the information from the questionnaire and site visit.
